That’s right… Essentially you can rename existing icons and assign your own function — shutdown, suspend, reboot, restartvsh (useful for HEN users), game, updater, pops, or backup — to whatever icon. It’s too bad you can’t create and inject your own icons, rather than replacing existing ones. Maybe that’s a future release.
