Liquidzigong & Takka return with some hacks and homebrew that go hand-in-hand: Prometheus v0.6 BETA and ISO Tool v1.60. Prometheus lets you enjoy firmware 6.00+ required titles on custom firmware M33 or GEN. And ISO Tool makes creating, patching, and converting those ISOs real easy like.

You should know Prometheus no longer includes a prometheus.prx — just an EBOOT.BIN. Instructions remain the same for the most part. There are two ways to go about things: using ISO Tool or using PRX Decrypter and WQSG_UMD.

The ISO Tool way:

1. Download ISO Tool. Install it. Run it.
2. Create your ISO from UMD. Press X on [UMD DRIVE] and X again on ISO Convert.
3. Browse to your newly created ISO, press X to bring up the ISO menu.
4. Decrypt the EBOOT.BIN here; import Prometheus EBOOT.BIN, etc. See above screenshot.

The PRX Decrypter & WQSG_UMD way:

1. Create an ISO of whatever 6.00+ required game by whatever means necessary.
2. Open that ISO in WQSG_UMD and browse to PSP_GAME/SYSDIR.
3. Extract EBOOT.BIN to a temporary folder.
4. Use PRXDecrypter to decrypt the extracted EBOOT.BIN file and rename it to EBOOT.OLD.
5. Extract EBOOT.BIN from the Prometheus RAR archive.
6. In WQSG_UMD drag ‘n drop the EBOOT.OLD and the new EBOOT.BIN files back to PSP_GAME/SYSDIR. See above screenshot; forget prometheus.prx, it’s no longer needed.
7. Copy the ISO to your memory stick and try it out.
