Jpcsp v0.5 Officially Released; Emulate the PSP on Your PC

Now better than ever: Jpcsp version 0.5…Powered by Java you’re able to emulate, at least to some degree, the PlayStation Portable. Load and play your UMDs (ISO ‘em up first) or homebrew right on your PC — Windows 32 and 64-bit supported. It even works well under virtualization with Parallels.

Of course many games remain unplayable… Some games load then later error out; others crap out immediately. But don’t get it twisted; there is a good list of playable titles. See this: Jpcsp Games Discussion.

Jpcsp v0.5:

  • Lot of improvements & fixes
  • Speedups using shaders
  • New implementations for HLE modules
  • Multi-language packs (English- French – Spanish – Catalan – Lithuanian)
  • Improved Fake MPEG
