DSonPSP Unofficial v0.1 Released: Nintendo DS Emulator for PSP
Taking on the DSonPSP project — the Nintendo DS emulator for the PSP — is developer Jonlimle… First time round, not much improved or changed, but the to do list sounds real good. Lets hope that happens. Jonlimle is working from the beta 6 source, so you’ll likely notice differences between this version and Yoshihiro’s last version: DSonPSP BETA 7.
DSonPSP is a port of DeSmUmE, which was originally ported to the PSP by Yoshihiro. Several NDS homebrew samples are included. As for commercial roms, most aren’t playable. If you’re lucky some run at around 10-15 FPS, and that’s without sound. Uno 52 works though!
Changes:
- New frontend
TODO:
- DynaRec support
- Screenshots
- Savestates
- More VFPU usage
- Menu access while playing a game, so you can switch your rom without restarting the emulator
- Support for zipped roms
